Published Non-Fiction Books

My first two books both had "romance" in the titles. The first one, "Romancing the Southland," was a pretty big hit and got excellent endorsements and reviews and a lot of publicity in all media. My second book, "Romance in Film Volume 1," got some good reviews and I was on TV and in newspapers on both US coasts. I also did a lot of radio interviews nationwide. At the time, I was a Studio Tour Guide for Universal Studios and we did book signing events at both the Hollywood and Orlando locations on the same weekend. It was hectic, but very exciting!

Romancing the Southland

Told chronologically, it juxtaposes American historical events with changes in film to show how concepts of romance and romanticism evolve with the time. Great detail is given about the movies, the stars, and the studios.

Hong Kong Neon Love Song

In 2016, I made this loving tribute to the beautiful classic neon signs of Hong Kong and Macau. These were important things that contributed to what made these places unique and special. It was a labor of love and is the result of over one year of taking hundreds of photos and videos and editing it all down to match to this lovely old Canto love song. Sadly, many if not most of them have already been destroyed. Hong Kong is not what it used to be.
